In the international year of the reef some divecenters cooperate to carry a solid rock of 2,5 tons which lay not perfect at the reef and get more sanded from year to year, so infact it was clear that in afew years the rock will be completet destroyed for the aquatic life.
So something have to be done!The plan was to get the sand away from the rock to make it possible to lift him a couple of meters of the ground with some lift balloons.
At the first day we spend 3hours and twenty minutes in 17 meters just to get the sand away and prepared all for the first attempt which failed.
In the second attempt we finally get it after about 2 hours of hard work underwater.
For the more technical divers,every diver use 6 x 12 liter tanks Nitrox 32 and a 5 liter tank oxygen for the decopression for the first attempt.
