Sbh Costa calma Beach
Since March 2023 we are the new owners of this dive center that has been standing for many years already. Taking on another dive center with all of its equipment takes time to make it your own, but since the owners were good friends of ours, it feels like our second home already and we sure hope we can make you feel the same way as well.
Reception
Even though it is a little tricky to get here, don’t be afraid to go into all the hallways and follow the signs until you find the big light-blue door. Go in and take your first turn to the left to find our registering area. Right there is were the whole magic happens, since our reception is combined with the storage for our equipments…
Wet Area
All the way down the hall we have a big wet area where all of you can clean your equipment. We let them dry there for a while and as soon as we leave the dive center, we take all the equipment inside so that it is locked and secured so you can feel safe about leaving your equipment with us.
Equipment
Between one dive center and the other, we have some high-end equipment for you to use.
- BCD: Aqualounge, ranging from XXS jackets to XL, a size for everyone, even for the smallest ones
- Regulators: ScubaPro, tough and rough regulators, able to withstand the sandy beach conditions.
- Wetsuits: we’ve tried many different brands, but in the last few years we’ve discovered that the best suits are from Cressi, so slowly but steadily we’ve been getting the old out and the new in.
- Bottles: we have little bottles for the tiny ones with 5L and also 15L bottles for the bigger ones. In between you find 7, 8, 10 and 12L bottles as well and remember we also serve Nitrox bottles.
Training area
For training we are able to use the facilities from the hotel. A big pool with a maximum of 1.8 meters depth is the perfect place for any type of training, from the most basic one to the most advanced one.
Compressor Room
We have a very sophisticated Lenhardt & Wagner Compressor with sound reduction, 4x50L bottles to fill air faster and everything in the best conditions ever imaginable.
Tranportation
we count on 3 types of vans – 2 Opel Vivaro vans and 1 Renault Traffic, one older than the other, but all in good conditions and constantly under review to ensure the safety of all our passengers.
Location
if you find the big pool in the middle of the hotel, then you are also able to find the dive center.
